In a time when schools and children are under so much pressure to perform academically it’s lovely to see my children experiencing a different way to learn, and they clearly benefit enormously from it.
All Saints First School After School Club- Leek
The perfect way to unwind and connect with nature at the end of the school day!
Our After School Club is available to all children from reception to Year 4 who attend All Saints C of E First School in Leek. We run our After School Club in Pickwood Woods on Wednesday evenings.
What to expect
Children can change into more suitable clothing or wear school uniform. We will have shelters up outside in case of rain. Children will be allocated a room to get changed in at the school and then will be met by two of our leaders who will walk them as a group up into the woods.
We will be back in Spring 2025!

- nature arts and crafts
- bush craft skills
- campfire cooking
- learning about natural habitats
- mindfulness in nature
- hammock swinging
- ...and lots more!
Snacks and drinks are provided.

Parents/Carers are to collect the children at 5pm from the bottom of Ashenhurst Way.
There will always be an adult to wait for your child if you are running late.

In winter, wrap up warm with waterproof outerwear and wellies, and don’t forget your woolly hats and gloves! In summer, sun cream and hats are a must!
