Quality time in nature, just for Dads and their woodland wildlings!
A wonderful opportunity for Dads to join in with some forest school experiences and activities with their children, for one Saturday per month! The perfect chance to connect with other Dads while your little ones make friends for life. Suitable for children aged 0 to 8 years.
What to expect
Enjoy everything that woods has to offer, with nature inspired crafts, stories, activities, and marshmallows on the campfire. Sessions take place on one Saturday per month. See our upcoming dates below and look out for more dates to be confirmed nearer the time…

In winter, wrap up warm with waterproof outerwear and wellies, and don’t forget your woolly hats and gloves! In summer, sun cream and hats are a must!

Parking and access to Rollins Wood, Marple
Where to park for Rollins Wood
You can park anywhere you can find a space on Compstall Road or on the housing estate opposite.
How to access the woods from Compstall Rd entrance
Remember there is NO driving down this track or parking in the little community car park, please only enter by foot. Look for the A frame 'welcome' sign and follow the yellow flags.
